Robert Harter

Robert Harter is an experienced professional in governmental affairs and program administration. Currently serving as a Programs Assistant at the McKnight Foundation since January 2022, Robert has a solid background in legislative support and organizational roles. Previous positions include Government Affairs Administrative Assistant at the Minnesota Nurses Association and Legislative Assistant at both Berns Knight Law Firm and the Minnesota State Senate. Robert also held roles as Deputy Field Director for the Minnesota Senate DFL Caucus and Field Organizer for the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party. An educational foundation in political science was established at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where Robert earned a Bachelor's degree.
