Jenny Smetana

Jenny Smetana, PMP, currently serves as the Manager of People Analytics and Talent Systems at McLane Company, Inc., a position held since May 2010. In this role, Jenny established and expanded the People Analytics team, implementing innovative retention strategies that resulted in $25.8 million in cost savings. Previously, as Retention Program Manager, Jenny led initiatives focused on turnover and retention analysis, managed HR data systems for 27,000 employees, and trained executives on analytics tools. Earlier experience includes positions as an HR, Leadership & Organizational Development Analyst, where data-driven initiatives were developed, and as Leadership & Org Development Coordinator/Specialist, managing LMS and e-learning initiatives. Prior to McLane Company, Jenny worked as Center Manager at FedEx Office from October 2007 to May 2010. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Human Resources Management from Western Governors University.
