Ehsan Dehghan-Azad

Ehsan Dehghan-Azad is a seasoned engineering professional specializing in motor control, with extensive experience in the automotive and electric vehicle sectors. Since June 2019, Ehsan has held multiple roles at McLaren Applied, progressing from Motor Control Engineer to Principal Motor Control Engineer. Prior to joining McLaren Applied, Ehsan worked at BorgWarner Inc. as a Motor Control Engineer and served as a Motor Control Specialist at Sevcon. Ehsan's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sensorless Torque/Speed Control for Electric Vehicle Applications and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical Drives and Control, both attained from Newcastle University.
