Don Franklin

Don Franklin has extensive experience in leadership positions in the technology and healthcare sectors. Don is currently the Vice President of Technology at McLaren Health Care, where they are responsible for managing infrastructure services and leading various technology initiatives. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Infrastructure at Fairview Health Services, where they oversaw a team of 250 and implemented cost-saving measures through technology rationalization. Don also held the position of Assistant Vice President of Information Systems at Intermountain Healthcare, where they were accountable for technology operations and strategy. Earlier in their career, they worked at Sirius Computer Solutions, Inc. as the Director of Consulting Services and as an Advisory Technical Consultant. Throughout their career, Don has demonstrated expertise in areas such as service management, cloud technology, and data center operations.

Don Franklin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Catholic Distance University from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Alaska Anchorage from 1981 to 1987, and Mathematics at the University of Puget Sound from 1980 to 1981. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile Framework Certification Training in 2020, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2013, and an Advanced Training Program in Healthcare Delivery Improvement from Intermountain Healthcare in 2011.
