Stuart Alfredson has extensive experience in finance, starting as a Graduate at PwC in 2001 and working their way up to Senior Manager. Stuart then moved to Dixons Carphone, where they held various roles, including Director of Group Financial Reporting. After that, they joined TalkTalk as Group Financial Controller, overseeing accounting, reporting, and corporate transactions. Currently, they serve as the Group Finance Director at McLaren Group. Throughout their career, Stuart has been involved in debt refinancing, implementing new accounting standards, and restructuring finance functions.
Stuart Alfredson obtained Bachelor's degrees in Arts and Commerce from the University of Melbourne from 1996 to 2000.

McLaren was the first F1 team to be awarded the Carbon Trust Standard in 2010 and has retained it since on a bi-annual basis, most recently in February 2021. The team was also the first in F1 to be given the FIA Sustainability Accreditation Award at a three-star level in 2013 as part of the FIA Environmental Certification framework, before becominga signatory to the UN Sports for Climate Action Commitment in 2021.
