Patrick Clifford

Patrick Clifford has extensive experience in various roles focused on foreign affairs and policy. Currently serving as a Southeast Asia Associate at McLarty Associates since August 2021, Patrick has also held positions as a South Asia Intern and a Southeast Asia Intern. Prior experience includes a Policy and Research Intern role at the US-ASEAN Business Council and a general internship at The World Affairs Council of Charlotte. In addition to these positions, Patrick was the Editor in Chief of the Internationalist Undergraduate Journal of Foreign Affairs and worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Earlier internships include a Public Affairs Intern at the U.S. Department of State and a Program Intern at the National Housing Conference. Patrick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and studied Political Science at The University of Hong Kong. Educational background includes a High School Diploma from Singapore American School and attendance at the International School of Brussels.
