Sue took up her current position with McLean Care in 2013. Her passion and commitment to the health and wellbeing of the aging population in regional, rural, and remote areas is a result of over 20 years of experience and service in the Health and Aged Care industries and has heavily influenced the success of McLean Care Ltd as a leading provider in the industry.

Sue spearheads the development of the next stage of the organization, including setting the strategic direction, developing the organization’s business and service delivery models, and ensuring McLean Care’s values are visibly integrated into the business and all services.

Sue brings to McLean Care specific skills in the areas of Leadership & Mentoring, Governance, and Quality & Risk Management, and her interests include Industry-wide aged care leadership development, and innovative, sustainable, and viable rural and remote service delivery models.

Sue is passionate about ensuring older people continue to receive quality service provision in regional, rural, and remote areas of NSW and Australia, and uses her voice on various state and national committees to ensure that older people in these areas are not marginalized because of their geographical location.

Sue maintains that she is privileged to work in aged care, and believes that with passion, drive, and energy you can make anything happen.
