Laura Wichman

Laura Wichman serves as the Vice President of Strategic Planning and Enrollment and Adjunct Faculty at McLennan Community College since June 2008, focusing on curriculum development, course creation, and ensuring student-learning outcomes. Wichman has previously held positions such as Chief Research & Effectiveness Officer and Director of Institutional Research, where responsibilities included overseeing institutional research activities, federal reporting, and accreditation processes. Additional roles encompassed Senior Research Analyst and Coordinator for Institutional Effectiveness, contributing to research reports and data management systems. Wichman also served as Associate Faculty at the University of Arizona Global Campus and as a Part-Time Institutional Research Specialist at Texas State Technical College. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and multiple degrees in management, leadership, and technology from Tarleton State University and McLennan Community College.
