Thorny Embly

Director, Customer Operations Support at McLeod Software

Thorny Embly has extensive work experience in the transportation/logistics industry. They started their career at Central Penn Trans Inc in 1985, where they held various roles including Vice President. During their time at the company, Thorny gained experience in multiple areas such as dock supervision, dispatching, payroll, and sales. In 2017, Thorny transitioned to McLeod Software as a Customer Advocate/Consultant, where they worked with existing customers utilizing their extensive skillset. In 2020, they became the Manager of Implementation Services, and in 2021, they were promoted to Director of Operations at McLeod Software.

Thorny Embly attended Donegal High School from 1980 to 1983. Then, from 1983 to 1989, they pursued a degree in Secondary Education Mathematics at Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Returning to education later in life, Thorny Embly studied Business Administration and Management, General at Central Penn College from 2015 to 2018, earning a Bachelor's Degree.
