Michael Kieweg

Michael Kieweg is the VP of Data Science at McMakler. Michael has over 10 years of experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Before McMakler, they were the Head of Research Engineering at LEVERTON, where they led a team of 7 researchers and was responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of machine learning algorithms for information extraction and data analytics. Michael has also worked as a Data Scientist at Zalando SE and as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Carl Zeiss Group. Michael has a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, deep learning, and word embeddings. Michael is also an expert in data modeling, data quality, and data analytics.

Michael Kieweg has a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Augsburg and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the same school. Michael also has two certifications from LinkedIn, one in Learning Data Science: Tell Stories With Data and one in Managing Team Creativity.
