Ethan Walsh

Ethan Walsh is an accomplished software engineering student at McMaster University, pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Currently serving as Vice President of Partnerships and Project Lead at McMaster Artificial Intelligence Society, Ethan directs the development of pianAI, a computer vision app for music education. Previous experience includes a Data Analytics Intern position at Bruce Power, where process automations and reports were developed for work order insights, and a Software Engineering Intern role at Fermi Solutions, which involved creating a web application that improved approval times in energy facilities. Additionally, Ethan worked as a Program Developer at the Nuclear Innovation Institute, spearheading an online Python platform for high school students, and served as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant at Saugeen District Senior School, instructing students in foundational programming concepts.
