Aashay Kumar

Aashay Kumar is an accomplished Senior Manager of Strategy and Operations at McMaster-Carr, with a career spanning over a decade in various strategic and operational roles. Since November 2020, Aashay has successfully launched and expanded multiple teams and improved customer responsiveness significantly through innovative digital strategies. Previous experience includes managing diverse finance and sales operations teams, optimizing processes, and developing impactful support structures for underrepresented employees. Aashay co-founded Buzzn, a platform for sharing academic and social experiences, which was acquired by the University of Michigan, where Aashay also contributed as a Product Management Consultant. Aashay's solid analytical skills were demonstrated through internships at Target and GroupMe, along with research in partnership with a major car manufacturer. Aashay holds an education from the University of Michigan and Upper St. Clair High School.
