Heidi Schauer

Heidi Schauer is a compliance specialist at PRIDE Health since March 2022, with extensive experience in child life and developmental support. Previous roles include child life specialist at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, where responsibilities involved providing therapeutic support for pediatric patients and managing volunteer activities. Heidi's journey in child life began with a fellowship and internship, offering developmentally appropriate interventions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across various hospital settings. Prior to this, Heidi gained diverse experience as a teaching assistant for students with disabilities, a resort concierge at Walt Disney World, and in multiple roles focusing on customer service and inventory management. Heidi holds a Master of Science in Child Development from Erikson Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa.
