Abdul Jamali

Abdul Jamali is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, cybersecurity, and biotechnology. Currently serving as the Founder & CEO of Seclytix since May 2025, Abdul focuses on helping businesses enhance security and become data-smart and AI-ready. As a Sessional Faculty member at McMaster University since January 2020, Abdul develops and leads innovative courses in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, integrating next-generation sequencing and bioinformatics analytics. Previous roles include Senior Manager at PwC Canada in AI Risk & Cybersecurity Data Science, Senior Data Scientist and Senior Information Security Specialist at TD, and Security Analyst at Herjavec Group. Abdul holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor's degree in Technology from McMaster University.
