Alex Poulin

Alex Poulin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their career in 2004 as a Senior Sales Associate and Assistant Store Manager at EB Games. In 2006, they transitioned to a Store Manager position at factorydirect.ca. From 2006 to 2009, Alex worked as a Help Desk Support Technician at National Steel Car. Following this, they worked as a Systems Designer and Systems Architect (Contract) at Marvilla Developments & Consulting Inc. In 2010, they joined AECL as a Senior Desktop Support Analyst until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, Alex worked as a LAN Analyst B and then as a Senior Technical Support Analyst at University Technology Services (UTS). In 2013, they became a Technical Support Specialist at the School of Geography and Earth Sciences at McMaster University. Alex's most recent role at McMaster University is as a Senior Systems Administrator and Lead Technical Support for the Faculty of Science, a position they have held since 2020. In addition to working at McMaster University, Alex also has entrepreneurial experience, owning CompuCure IT Solutions since 2007 and CompuCloud-Storage Solutions since 2019.
