Brian Mossop

Brian Mossop, MBA, serves as the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club, a position held since July 2019. In addition to this role, Brian acts as a Course Instructor at McMaster University, teaching courses on Strategic Management in Golf Operations, Hospitality Management, and Club Governance since September 2020. Previous management experience includes the role of General Manager at Pitt Meadows Golf Club from October 2016 to June 2019 and from March 2005 to September 2016 at Guildford Golf and Country Club, where duties also included Assistant General Manager. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Geography/Economics from The University of British Columbia, and a Graduate Studies Diploma in Golf Course Operations and Grounds Management from the Golf Management Institute of Canada.
