Devon Mordell

Devon Mordell is an experienced educational and archival professional with a diverse background in academic institutions and community arts. Currently serving as an Educational Developer at McMaster University since July 2020, Devon has previously held roles such as Librarian for Digital Scholarship and Archiving at the University of Windsor and Reference and Instructional Librarian at Vancouver Island University. Devon's experience at The University of British Columbia includes positions focused on research assistance, archives processing, metadata creation, and copyright education. An accomplished instructional designer, Devon contributed to McMaster's first MOOC and has provided extensive support for faculty in using technology effectively in teaching. Devon holds a Master's of Archival Studies and a Master's degree in English & Cultural Studies, alongside a BFA in Visual Arts and a certificate in Web Design.
