Kam Zaidi

Kam Zaidi is an accomplished founder of Commute Academy, with a diverse portfolio of experience in engineering and entrepreneurship. At McMaster University, Zaidi has held various roles including Walker for the Student Walk Home Attendance Team, Formula Electric Race Engineer focusing on vehicle dynamics, and President of the Marauder Mixed Martial Arts Club. Additionally, Zaidi has been involved with several organizations including Innovation Factory Hamilton as part of the Entrepreneur Drive, Sport Chek as an Associate Ski & Bike Specialist, Riders Choice as an Associate Motorcycle Equipment Specialist, and Kazimoto Engineering as Director of Operations. Notable achievements include winning the Engineering 4 Future Competition for "Most Innovative Design" and being a finalist in multiple prestigious competitions such as Dragon's Den and the Ontario Engineering Competition. Zaidi holds a Bachelor of Technology in Automotive Engineering Technology from McMaster University and is an alumnus of The Forge McMaster startup incubator.
