Karin Stephenson

Karin Stephenson, PhD, serves as the Director of Nuclear Research and Education Support and Director of Research Platforms at McMaster University, where employment began in September 2014. Previously, Karin held the position of Manager of Commercial Operations - Nuclear Operations at the same institution. Prior to joining McMaster University, Karin was the Director of Discovery at the Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization from November 2008 to August 2014 and completed Post Doctoral Fellowships at CAMH and the University of Pennsylvania between 2005 and 2008. Karin obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry from McMaster University in 2005, following an Honours Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from the same university in 2000.
