Sarrah M. Lal

Sarrah M. Lal is an accomplished professional in the fields of medicine and innovation, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at McMaster University's Michael G DeGroote School of Medicine in both part-time and full-time capacities. Lal holds multiple leadership roles, including Director of Health Ventures and the Clinical Health Innovation Program, as well as co-lead of the MED-X Community of Practice and the Education & Innovation Community of Practice within the Department of Medicine. As a co-founder of MGD Health Innovation, Commercialization & Entrepreneurship, Lal has also held significant positions at various institutions, including the University of Waterloo and Velocity, focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation. Lal's educational background includes advanced degrees from the University of Toronto, University of London, and McMaster University, alongside a post-graduate certificate in Clinical Research and training in Executive Coaching and Leadership.
