Tracy Dallaire

Tracy Dallaire has a diverse background in various roles within the public and private sectors. Tracy currently serves as the Director of Information Security at McMaster University, where they are responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information security strategy. Prior to this, they held positions at Mohawk College as the Senior Director of Technology Integration Academic and Senior Director of IT and Enterprise Architecture, where they played a key role in driving innovation and technological integration across academic and applied research.

Before joining the education sector, Tracy worked at eHealth Ontario as the Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer. Tracy was responsible for overseeing internal audit processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Tracy also served as the OPS Enterprise Risk Management Lead at the Ontario Public Service, where they transformed the government's approach to enterprise risk management and played a pivotal role in identifying and managing risks.

Tracy has extensive experience in the public sector, having held several positions within the Ontario Public Service. Tracy served as the Director of the Farm Finance Branch, where they transformed policy approaches and program delivery for farm businesses. Additionally, Tracy held roles as the Internal Audit Director and Director of Internal Audit, where they positioned internal audit as a key advisor on risk and control matters. Tracy also pioneered the design of risk management processes and contributed to the ministry and agency leadership's oversight for risk management and controllership.

Early in their career, Tracy worked in the Canadian Government as a Project Manager in Aviation Regulation. In this role, they led the management and oversight of key projects aimed at transforming aviation regulation approaches and modernizing business processes.

Tracy Dallaire obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Public Administration and Political Science from Western University in the years 1989 to 1993. Tracy then pursued a Master of Public Administration degree at Concordia University from 1993 to 2002. Tracy also holds a certification as a Certified Management Consultant from the Canadian Association of Certified Management Consultants.
