Lisa Ferzoco has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Lisa started their career as a Resident Surgeon at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 1995 and worked there until 2000. From 2001 to 2003, they served as a General Surgeon at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Lisa then joined Dedham Medical Associates as a General Surgeon from 2003 to 2007.
In 2007, Lisa joined New England Baptist Hospital as a General and Laparoscopic Surgeon. Lisa also served as the Director of the New England Baptist Hernia Center from 2009 to 2019. Overall, Lisa Ferzoco has worked in various capacities, specializing in general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, acute care, trauma, and hernia surgery.
Lisa Ferzoco has an extensive education history in the field of medicine. From 1995 to 2000, they attended the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/ Harvard Medical School, where they completed a General Surgery Residency Program. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1995, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University. Lisa's educational journey began in 1984 when they enrolled at James Madison University. Lisa completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Public Health in 1988.
In addition to their formal education, Lisa Ferzoco has also obtained certifications in their field. Lisa received Board Certification from the American Board of Surgery in 2003 and later obtained Board Re-Certification in 2012.
