James Murphy

James Murphy has extensive work experience in risk management and compliance. James started their career as a Dispute Resolution Officer at GE Money in 2003. James then served various roles at GE Capital Australia & New Zealand, including Compliance Programs Officer and Regulatory Initiatives PMO Leader. In 2012, they became the Senior Manager of Enterprise Risk & Governance before being promoted to Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Policy. In 2017, they joined Latitude Financial Services as the Head of Risk - Insurance and later became the General Manager of Insurance Risk & Compliance. Most recently, in 2023, they joined McMillan Shakespeare (MMSG) as the Head of Risk.

James Murphy completed their Bachelor of Business Management degree from Monash University from 1995 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained their Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) from St Kevins College in 1995. James also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, but the details regarding the institution and year of attainment are not available.
