Lauren Winkler

Lauren Winkler is a skilled Patent Agent at McNeill PLLC, having joined the firm in May 2022 after a contractor role with The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where data analysis and scientific writing were utilized to assess vendor suitability. With a Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale University, Lauren's doctoral research focused on the molecular mechanisms of cis-regulation by the long noncoding RNA LincRNA-p21, under the guidance of Dr. Nadya Dimitrova. Lauren possesses a strong foundation in experimental design and lab management from earlier roles at Yale University, including a Research Assistant position, and has also contributed to undergraduate education as a Teaching Fellow.
