Esperanza Gamboa has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Esperanza began their career in 1996 as the Career Development Program Director at the Manatee County School District, where they oversaw a wide range of activities and services for students. In 2000, they began working as a consultant, providing expertise in Latino community affairs to various agencies and direct clients. In 2003, they became a TV reporter and host of a local TV program, focusing on raising awareness of Latino issues in Florida. In 2018, Gamboa joined MCR Health, Inc as the Director of Outreach and Community Affairs, responsible for leading outreach initiatives and community engagement. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a passion for advocating for the Latino community and empowering individuals through education and resources.

Esperanza Gamboa has a diverse education history. Esperanza first attended Oriente University from 1985 to 1987, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs. After that, they obtained a Master in Education degree from Volgograd State University, specializing in Russian Language and Literature, although the specific start and end years for this degree are not provided. Later, Esperanza pursued further education at National Louis University, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, from 2009 to 2011.
