Sam Loh has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Starting in 1999, they worked as a lawyer at Messrs Karpal Singh & Co. In 2001, they founded and managed their own legal firm, Messrs Loh & Co, where they specialized in litigation, conveyancing, property developer projects, and bank loan documentation. Sam was responsible for expanding the client base by securing major banking and property developer clients and hiring a team of lawyers and staff to support the firm's growth. Sam Loh then joined Goshu Associates in 2013 as the Director of the International Division until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad as the Head of Group Corporate Legal. Currently, they hold the position of Head Of Legal at Avaland Berhad since March 2020.
Sam Loh attended the University of Buckingham from 1992 to 1994, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in International Law and Legal Studies. Before that, they completed their Secondary education at Assumption English School in Singapore. Furthermore, they also attended Catholic Junior College, although it is not specified when they were enrolled or the field of study pursued.
