Tom Fischer

Tom Fischer currently serves as General Counsel and Head of Legal, Compliance, and Tax at Zürcher Kantonalbank since 2017. Fischer also holds positions as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the ZKB Philanthropy Foundation and as Chair of the Legal and Compliance Committee at Swiss Banking - Schweizerische Bankiervereinigung. In addition, Fischer is a Board Member at Swisscanto Fund Management Company Ltd. and Chair of the Legal and Compliance Committee at Verband Schweizerischer Kantonalbanken. Previous experience includes roles at UBS and Credit Suisse, where Fischer held various legal leadership positions. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. from the University of Zurich and a degree in Foundation Board Expert from the University of Basel.
