Wilson Lai Sze Lim

Wilson Lai Sze Lim has extensive experience in the field of design and planning, spanning a career of over 15 years. Wilson currently holds the position of Acting Head of Design & Planning at Avaland Berhad, a role they have held since April 2023. In this position, Wilson has developed and implemented a design manual for different market segments, standardized various documents and reports, and rationalized project specifications for bulk purchase initiatives.

Prior to their current role, Wilson served as a Senior Manager of Design & Planning at MCT Berhad from February 2019 to March 2023. Wilson was responsible for developing and implementing a design and specifications handbook, standardizing SPA drawings and schedules, and managing external consultants to ensure efficient and timely delivery of designs.

From 2012 to 2019, Wilson worked at Selangor Dredging Berhad where they held various positions, starting as a Senior Development Executive and eventually becoming the Planning & Development Manager. During their time at Selangor Dredging Berhad, Wilson maximized land use and floor area efficiency, supervised planning and design teams, and standardized development enhancement features.

Prior to that, Wilson held the position of Project Architect at GuocoLand (M) Bhd where they effectively managed schematic design and tender processes for luxury building materials. Wilson also successfully managed the design and implementation of a sales gallery.

Wilson began their career at Nautilus Archi-Lab Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Architect and later became a Design/Project Architect. During their time at Nautilus Archi-Lab Sdn Bhd, they completed various projects and was responsible for design works, statutory submissions, contract administration, and site inspections.

Overall, Wilson Lai Sze Lim has demonstrated a strong track record in design and planning, with experience in managing teams, implementing standardized processes, and delivering projects efficiently and effectively.

Wilson Lai Sze Lim obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Universiti Sains Malaysia, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
