Samiur Rahman is an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator and Data Analyst currently affiliated with The Asia Foundation, focusing on empowering women garment workers through the "Oporajita - Collective Impact on the Future of Work" initiative. Concurrently, Samiur serves as a mentor in the MCW Young Leaders Program 2024-25, having previously participated as a mentee in the 2023-24 cohort, where a project addressing economic insecurity in pregnancy was developed. With a background in micro-small entrepreneurship development at iDE, where key contributions were made to the MERL component of initiatives and qualitative evaluations, Samiur has also engaged in professional development through Lehigh University's Global Village program and was recognized as global talent by UNLEASH for innovations in impact investment. Expertise in documentation and project management was further honed during a volunteer internship at Oxfam and various roles throughout education at Calvin University, where a Bachelor of Arts in Geography was obtained.
