Michael Kopecky

Michael Kopecky has extensive work experience in the field of tax and finance. Michael began their career as a Senior Accountant at Aderholt & Fugit, P.C., where they gained experience in various industries and performed tasks such as tax preparation, tax planning, and general ledger work. Michael then joined Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. as a Tax Manager, where they further honed their expertise in tax management. In 2006, Kopecky moved to ADTRAN, Inc. as a Tax Director and held the position for thirteen years. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Tax Director at McWane, Inc.

Michael Kopecky holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they earned between 1996 and 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Samford University between 1992 and 1996. In 1998, they became a Certified Public Accountant, obtaining their certification from the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy.
