Ben Barash

Ben Barash currently serves as Lead Captain on the Dassault Falcon 2000LX for McWHINNEY and as a Volunteer First Responder with Evergreen Fire/Rescue. Since December 2018, Ben has been a Certified Flight Instructor at Independence Aviation, specializing in advanced training, mountain flying, and pilot mentorship. Previous roles include Captain for Lennar on the Bombardier Challenger 300, FlySoulbird on a HondaJet, and ONEflight International on a Gulfstream III. Ben's early career includes a Lead Engineer position at GE Aviation, where responsibilities involved fleet management and technical programs for CFM56 and LEAP engines, along with design and testing of aircraft engines. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
