Tawnya DeHerrera

Tawnya DeHerrera serves as the Vice President of People Services at McWHINNEY since May 2019, where Tawnya leads the People Services team and acts as a strategic partner to the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with organizational goals. Previously, Tawnya held the position of Human Resources Director at McWHINNEY, advising management on HR policies and employee management. Prior experience includes working as a Workforce Staffing Consultant for the Colorado Department of Transportation from October 2013 to May 2019, focusing on recruitment and staffing activities. Tawnya began the career in higher education as the Assistant Director of Career Services at Redstone College from April 2011 to September 2013. Tawnya earned a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from Metropolitan State University of Denver between 2000 and 2005.
