Lisa McPherson

Lisa McPherson, an associate with McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates, P.A., is a highly respected and successful litigator with over 35 years of experience. In addition to other multi-million-dollar verdicts, including a $2.9 million dollar verdict in a motorcycle wreck and a $2.1 million dollar verdict in a rear-end collision, Ms. McPherson obtained a $17 million dollar verdict in 2018 for a family involved in an 18-wheeler wreck on the interstate. She handles all forms of automobile accident and personal injury cases. Ms. McPherson has been recognized nationally and named as one of the country’s Super Lawyers. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McPherson held various prestigious legal positions, serving as a municipal court judge for the City of Columbia, and law clerk to the Honorable C. Victor Pyle, Jr., Circuit Judge for the Thirteenth Circuit. Lisa spent the first six years of her career prosecuting major crimes as an assistant solicitor for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. In 1993, Ms. McPherson began her own practice in Lexington, South Carolina, during which time she was admitted to the United States District Court, District of South Carolina. Immediately prior to joining McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates, P.A., Ms. McPherson proudly served as an assistant public defender for Lexington County. Throughout her career Ms. McPherson has determinedly fought for her clients and acquired extensive trial and negotiating experience.
