Alp Tanriover

Alp Tanriover is an Intermediate MTS Mechanical Engineer at MDA Space since May 2022, focusing on the design of mechanism drive train components, detailed mechanical analysis, and performance testing. Alp also contributes to streamlining standard mechanisms design procedures. Prior experience includes work as a Junior MTS Mechanical Engineer on the gateway external robotics system (GERS, Canadarm3) for the NASA/CSA Artemis program. Additional experience comprises a role as a Propulsion Subteam Member with the McGill Rocket Team, where modeling and assembly of a tank flipper were performed, as well as serving as a Summer Research Student at McGill University, conducting academic research on interstellar travel under Professor Andrew J. Alp Tanriover holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a High School Diploma in Math-Science from İstanbul Özel Saint-Joseph Fransız Lisesi.
