Evgeniy Lebed

Evgeniy Lebed is a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Computer Vision and Machine Learning at MDA since April 2014, with expertise in surveillance, intelligence, earth observation, and C4ISR. Previous roles include Senior Computer Vision Engineer at ClearVision Technologies, Inc., R&D Engineer and Postdoctoral Fellow for a biomedical image acquisition technology at Vancouver General Hospital and Simon Fraser University, and CT Engineer at GE Healthcare, focusing on dose reduction in CT imaging. With a robust research background, Evgeniy has developed biomedical image processing algorithms and completed a Ph.D. in Engineering from Simon Fraser University, alongside Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, respectively. Additional experience includes teaching assistant positions at Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia, and a long tenure as a programmer at Streko-Graphics Inc.
