Oluwasoga Oni has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Oluwasoga began their career as a Computer Engineering Intern at Skye Bank Plc in 2006, where they gained experience in router/switches installation, server configuration, and email server management. In 2010, they worked as a Firmware Engineer at Zebra Technologies, where they were responsible for developing test cases, creating unit tests, and updating software requirement specifications.
Afterwards, Oni joined EMC in 2011 as a Software Engineer II, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of the Linux OS Layer for EMC's proprietary software. Oluwasoga also participated in the EMC Leadership Engineering Accelerated Program (LEAP), which exposed him to various groups within EMC's Unified Storage Division.
Currently, Oni is the CEO and Co-Founder of MDaaS Global, a Techstars-backed company that aims to build Africa's largest network of private diagnostic facilities. Their role involves providing convenient, high-quality, and affordable care to the continent's next billion.
Oluwasoga Oni's education history begins in 2002, as they enrolled at Covenant University in Ogun state, Nigeria. They completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information and Communication Technology in 2007.
In 2009, Oluwasoga pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. This program lasted for two years, concluding in 2011.
