Joseph Habboushe

Joseph Habboushe, MD MBA, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, and holds the position of President of the Alumni Association Board of Directors, along with being a member of the Board of Fellows. As a cofounder and CEO of MDCalc since 2011, Joseph has significantly contributed to the field of healthcare. Additionally, Joseph's role as an inventor at Vitalis Pharma and a public speaker on topics such as Evidence Based Medicine, Healthcare Policy, and physician entrepreneurship highlights a commitment to advancing healthcare practices. Joseph has also been involved in editorial work for EB Medicine and advisory roles at Junto Health. Previous experience includes serving as an Associate Professor at NYU Langone Medical Center and attending physician positions at notable hospitals. Joseph holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University, an MBA in Healthcare Finance from Columbia Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Yale University.
