In 2014, MDH invested $200+ million of equity with a major institutional partner by acquiring and developing industrial buildings throughout the Southeastern U.S. The JV successfully acquired more than 100 buildings totaling 14 million square feet of space, spread across 8 states and sold the entire portfolio to an affiliate of The Blackstone Group. In March 2019, MDH launched a new investment vehicle, a $350 million closed-end real estate fund focused on value-add industrial throughout the Sunbelt and in 2021, MDH Partners will raise $575 million for their second value-add fund.
