Laurence Doering

Laurence Doering is a Managing Associate in the MishconPurpose team at Mishcon de Reya LLP since April 2024. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate in International Arbitration at Allen & Overy from September 2016 to February 2024, where Laurence specialized in international arbitrations across various sectors and regions. Laurence began the legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at Allen & Overy, with training in international arbitration, banking, and corporate departments. Prior to that, Laurence worked as a Political Officer at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, focusing on energy, environment, and climate change, and represented the UK in discussions with Austrian officials. Laurence's early career includes an internship with the United Nations, contributing to a report on the Human Right to Food. Educational qualifications encompass a B.A. and M.A. in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge, a Visiting Scholar in Sociology at New York University, a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Master’s in Law and Business from the University of Law and BPP Law School, respectively, as well as a Matura from Theresianum.
