MDS Gas Turbine Engine Solutions
Oleg Zastavniuk is an experienced aerodynamics engineer currently employed at MDS Aero Support Corporation since November 2014, where responsibilities include the design of gas turbine test cell aerodynamic systems. Previously, Zastavniuk served as a project manager at the Canadian Space Agency from July 2013 to June 2014, overseeing the construction and installation of industrial system upgrades. Additionally, a role as facilities engineering manager at the National Research Council Canada from 2006 to 2011 involved the management of large gas-turbine test facilities. Zastavniuk's earlier experience includes being a senior aero-thermal engineer at GE Energy, where the focus was on improving gas turbine combustion system performance. In an academic capacity, Zastavniuk managed research projects at the University of Alberta. Oleg Zastavniuk holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and an Engineer's degree in Civil Engineering from Makeevka Civil Engineering Institute.
