Justin Effinger

Justin Effinger is a seasoned traffic engineer with extensive experience in traffic signal systems and intelligent transportation systems. Currently serving as a Senior Traffic Engineer and ITS & Traffic Supervisor at Mead & Hunt since October 2022, Justin previously held roles as a Senior Traffic Engineer at NoTraffic and as Principal Engineer (Traffic Signal/ITS Engineer) at Lake County. Responsibilities have included managing traffic volume programs, implementing advanced traffic signal technologies, and leading various engineering initiatives. Justin's background includes significant contributions at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, where project involvement encompassed the Zoo Interchange reconstruction, and academia experience as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, from which Justin earned a Master's of Engineering and Bachelor's of Civil Engineering with a focus on transportation engineering.
