Ron Engel

Ron Engel has 35 years of extensive experience in airport planning, design, and construction, having served as a Senior Aviation Consultant and Vice President at Mead & Hunt since May 1999, where operations of the Aviation Group were overseen nationwide. Prior roles include Chief Engineer at Whitworth-Borta Inc. and Section Manager/Project Manager at the State of Michigan's Department of Transportation, where Ron managed an $80 million Airport Improvement Program. Early career experience includes work as a Materials Engineer for the Tennessee Valley Authority. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technical University. Currently, Ron is retired as of January 2021.
