Jenn Reingle Gonzalez has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health policy and research. Jenn started their career as an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2012 and later took on the role of Assistant Regional Dean at the UTHealth School of Dentistry from 2017 to 2019. During this time, they also served as an Associate Professor at the UTHealth School of Public Health. In 2019, they joined the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute as the Senior Director of Population Health, and later became the Vice President of Population Health in September 2021. Alongside, they also worked as the Director of Research at the Caruth Police Institute starting from 2019.
Jenn Reingle Gonzalez began their education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminal Justice and sociology. Jenn completed their undergraduate studies in 2005. Following this, they attended the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services at the University of Cincinnati in 2007. In 2008, Jenn enrolled in the University of Florida to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Epidemiology. Jenn successfully completed their doctoral studies in 2012.
In 2023, Jenn furthered their education by obtaining a certificate in Leadership Accelerator from Learning @ Morning Brew. Additionally, they obtained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician from the New Jersey Department of Health and Human Services.
