Laura Wilson-Slocum, MS, LPC has a extensive work experience in the mental health field. Laura currently serves as the Chief of Staff for the Executive Vice President of Justice and Health at Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute. In this role, they collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop operational strategies and programmatic infrastructure for the Center for Justice and Health.

Prior to their current position, Laura worked at Integral Care in Austin, TX. Laura Wilson-Slocum, MS, LPC completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Loyola University New Orleans. Laura then pursued a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology at Our Lady of the Lake University from 2002 to 2004. Following their education, Laura obtained the certification of Licensed Professional Counselor from the Behavioral Health Executive Council--Texas in November 2006.
