Miriam Pearsall

Miriam Pearsall, MPH, currently serves as the Chief of Staff for Policy at the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute since February 2023, focusing on resource management and federal policy activity in mental health and criminal justice. Previously, as Assistant Director of Policy at the same institute, Miriam advanced key policy initiatives and analyzed federal opportunities. Experience includes roles as Policy Associate for Behavioral Health at NASHP, Executive Fellow at Well Being Trust, and graduate internships at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, The Carter Center, and Southeast MHTTC. Miriam has also worked with AmeriCorps VISTA to enhance public health outcomes for the unhoused and served as a Business Analyst at Public Consulting Group and Legal Assistant in the Arkansas Governor's Office. Miriam holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University.
