Teresa Luce, RDN, CSPO has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Teresa began their career in 2010 as a Food Service Representative at University Health System, where they interpreted patient diet orders and ensured basic nutrition needs were met. In 2011, they worked as an Assistant at South Plains Food Bank Data Collection, where they collected and recorded nutritional information from donated food items.
In 2011, Teresa joined Texas Tech University as a Dietetic Intern, completing a comprehensive program and gaining experience in assessing and evaluating nutrition care for various patients.
In 2012, they worked as a Clinical Dietitian at ARAMARK, implementing medical nutrition therapy, monitoring compliance, and managing clinical performance improvement plans.
In 2013, Teresa joined MealSuite as a Product Manager, where they managed cross-functional teams, designed product roadmaps, and developed features based on customer needs. Teresa later became the Director of Product, scaling the department and providing leadership and growth opportunities for junior product managers.
Throughout their roles, Teresa demonstrated a strong understanding of nutrition management software, HACCP standards, industry regulations, and best practices. Teresa maintained open communication with teams to enhance organizational performance and efficiency.
Teresa Luce, RDN, CSPO, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics from Texas Tech University which they completed from 2007 to 2011. Teresa also obtained a certification as a Registered Dietitian from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in November 2012. In addition to their educational background, Teresa Luce obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in March 2022.
