Akbar Mohamed is an accomplished executive with extensive experience across various leadership roles. Currently serving as President of Prime Communications since July 2000, Akbar has contributed to the company becoming the largest AT&T Authorized Retailer in the United States. In addition, Akbar holds prominent positions such as Chairman of the Board at The Awty International School and Founding Member of Meaningful Partners, focusing on purposeful investments. Akbar also founded Jumana LP, a family office involved in diverse investments, and serves as Treasurer for the Young Presidents Organization. Earlier career roles included Chairman of Nizari Progressive Federal Credit Union and Financial Analyst positions at Hicks Muse Tate & Furst and Goldman Sachs. Akbar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
