Juan Hidalgo

General Manager at Mecanalisis

Juan Hidalgo is the current General Manager at Mecanalisis. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjoint Professor of Vibrations in Mechanical Design at UWM from July 2009 to December 2009. Before that, they were the Dynamics Analysis Manager at TOSHIBA from April 2003 to September 2010, where they were responsible for the operation of the High Speed Balance Bunker at REGENCO and manager of their dynamic analysis group. Juan has also worked as a Production Engineer Internship at Owens Industries Inc. Wisconsin USA from January 2001 to July 2002. Juan has extensive exposure to turbo machinery diagnostics and vibration analysis and troubleshooting (turbines and generators), FEA computer modeling and simulation, bearing design and troubleshooting, modal analysis of static and rotating components. Juan has also been involved in machinery design, reverse engineering and component retrofitting.

Juan Hidalgo received a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a BS in Ingenieria Mecanica from Universidad Nacional de San Juan, and a Tecnico Mecanico in Mecanica from Pablo Nogues.
