James Loomos currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Mechanism Ventures, an early-stage venture firm focused on scaling $1B+ companies through exceptional talent. In addition, James holds the position of Chief of Staff and Advisor at SmallWorld, which facilitates warm introductions and referrals through collective networks. Previously, James was an Advisor at Chromatic, which specializes in automating frontend workflows for UI testing, and held multiple senior roles at Silversmith Capital Partners, including Vice President of GTM & Operations. James began a career in consulting as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Harvard University.
