Earl C. Martin Jr.

Earl C. Martin Jr., MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinician and mental health consultant currently serving Mecklenburg County since June 2018, providing clinical and contractual services in the Department of Child, Family, and Adult Services. Responsibilities include reviewing assessments for clinical appropriateness and supervising provisionally licensed staff. Earl has also served as a domestic violence liaison and clinician for children's services, conducting clinical intakes and implementing therapeutic techniques for clients. As the owner and therapist at Innate Virtue Counseling, PLLC, since March 2020, Earl offers comprehensive clinical treatment and assessments. Previous experience includes roles as a Family Centered Treatment Therapist, case manager at Winthrop University, and lead therapist for children with autism at the Early Autism Project, among other positions. Earl holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from Winthrop University.
